Emily at 11 months

Walking, walking, walking. That is all Emily does now. She started walking right when she turned 11 months on the 5th. She would do less and less crawling every day this month. She is so proud of herself. At first it was hard for other people to see her walk since she doesn't want to leave my side when a lot of other people around, but she will walk to me if I am not already next to her. She is also starting to voice her opinion on what she wants or doesn't want by grunting, pulling at something, or yelling. She knows what she wants and will do what she can to get it. She is starting to sleep more through the night but isn't quite there yet. There are a few times that she will get up around 1:00 and I can give her a nuk and she'll go back to sleep until 5:00 or so. Then she'll eat then and go back to sleep until around 7:00. She is also napping a lot so maybe all of this is just a growth spurt and she will start getting up again during the night. Oh how nice it is to get a full night's sleep though. She is trying to communicate through words like, dada, or daddy, hi , yeah, mama, and even signed "more". I don't consider any of those first words yet because they still seem like sounds she is trying to make. Hopefully that first one come soon and ease and language worries I may have about her. She is such a happy baby and loves going outside, loves other kids, even Stephanie, and is getting to know everything she isn't suppose to do, but loves to do it to get attention. She is our little troublemaker but so much fun.
