Kisses

Stephanie learned to give kiss last week. She doesn't always give them when they are asked for but sometimes you are lucky and get one (or more). But once she gets going watch out. She likes to give kisses on the lips and she has her mouth wide open and after a couple she keeps pulling you in or holding on so she can keep going. It is so cute and so funny. I feel like she is attacking me. So then the more I laugh the more she does it. She just has to be reminded not to bite. I can't take a picture of her kissing me so I got a picture of her kissing her dolly.

Feet

I had another ultrasound on Monday was all baby wanted to show was her feet. This doctor was even able to switch the monitor to 4D but baby was covering her face with her feet. So I got some feet pictures, just like I did with Stephanie. Funny because Stephanie likes feet and I can't stand them.

Cute shoes

Stephanie got hello kitty crocs from her Auntie Alle last year and was able to wear them this week. I think they are just adorable. I think she did as well.

Outside

What a wonderful weekend we had here. Stephanie loved her preview to summer. She had a blast playing outside and at the park. She played with the sticks, drew with chalk, pushed her dolly, played soccer, was able to go on the swing, and just run around. She had fun watching cars drive by but also wanted to go in to the street. We'll be working on that all summer I assume. She had more fun on the driveway since the grass was pretty uneven. I did have some sciatica pain this weekend that made chasing her a little difficult. Hopefully that doesn't continue since I have enough back problems.

Laying down

Stephanie has started to lay down on her own or fall backwards while she is sitting. She does pretty well of looking behind her to make sure she won't bump into anything. This also means she likes to lay on stuff. Mostly it is her dolls or her stuffed animals. She has even fallen asleep in her crib on top of her teddy bear. It does not mean she likes to lay down for a diaper change though. Some days she just hates that part of laying down even if she has already laid down on her own.

New sports bottle

I had bought this for Stephanie awhile ago but just haven't used it because it was different than the rest of her cups. She was so excited and knew it was different. It has a different spout and took her awhile to figure out how it worked but was laughing after every little sip. Some did drip onto her shirt but it was only water and she was happy with her new cup. Soon we'll have to move on to a non sippy cup. Maybe this summer when it is warm out and spilling water on herself will feel good.

Stephanie started gymnastics

I have debated for weeks (at least) about signing Stephanie up for gymnastics at the same place that Mia has gone since I took her when she was 1. Well, I finally did it and we went on Tuesday. She did very well for her first time. The first part of class in sitting in a circle singing songs and I was worried that Stephanie would just want to run around. She did better than I expected and only tried to leave the area once. She loved the foam pit and even jumped on the trampoline with the teacher. She even got some dinosaur stamps on her hands and feet at the end of class and was so excited. She never had stamps before. She did have some trouble going to take Mia today and not being able to go and play again. She didn't like that I said it wasn't her turn today. Hopefully that gets better.

St. Patrick's Day party and Birthday

Yesterday we were at my parents for a St. Patrick's Day party and my Grandpa's 84th birthday. Stephanie had lots fun playing with her cousins, dolls, and eating. Stephanie even got to wear some beads and left them alone most of the night. We know she likes food and she had no problem with Irish food. She was able to show some people how she can count a little. She has said "four" once, "two' a couple times, but most of her counting is us counting "one, two" and she says "three". Of course it sounds more like "dree" but we know what she is trying to say.

Stephanie's new haircut

Since we were at my parents my mom decided to try to cut Stephanie's bangs. It didn't go so well last time so I haven't been anxious for it to get done. This time was so much better and she sat so nicely. She was happy with a comb and a cracker. This time there was also more hair to cut and to save. She just got the bangs cut and she looks adorable.

Stephanie had a dress fitting

We went to my parents this morning for Stephanie to try on a new dress. You can't tell from the pictures how cute the pleats and smocking is since Stephanie will no longer sit still. She loves the couch now so going from one side to the other was so much fun. It is even better since she can climb up on this couch. The couches at our house are still too tall for her and she gets quite frustrated. She looked beautiful in her dress and now we just need some white shoes.

In the snow

Yesterday was pretty warm out, around 50, so Stephanie was able to get in the snow. I am not a snow person so I needed warmer weather first before I took her out. She wasn't sure what to think of it and just stood there in the snow. She looked so goofy in the snowsuit but at least it got worn once this winter. She had no problem walking in the boots once she got out of the snow and on the driveway. That was much better so she could march in the puddles. She didn't keep her mittens on and I figured she was warm enough in the snowsuit. She didn't like holding the snow but she did take little pieces off she snowsuit.

Pregnant at 21 weeks

I was taking pictures last pregnancy starting at about 15 weeks so this time I have been slacking a little bit. These are the first ones I have taken and I am more than halfway there. My pants are now tight and the belly is getting bigger. It sure looks a lot bigger than I thought it was. I have to take these because Jeff thinks I'm weird by wanting to document the pregnancy with pictures. But he should know by now that you can never have enough pictures of things.

Cousins birthday party again

So after Oliver's birthday party we went to Jimmy's 5th birthday party, Stephanie cousin. She had a blast getting snacks from everyone all night and playing with her cousins Abby and Charlie. She was even trying to help her cousin Max play his Nintendo game. The Spiderman cupcakes left Stephanie with a blue face.

Cousins birthday party

Stephanie had a weekend of parties and that led to some disturbance in her sleep for the weekend. The first party was Oliver's first birthday, her second cousin, or Jeff's cousins son, however that works out. As you can tell the wagon was a big hit. Stephanie was playing in it with her cousin Rachael. I think Stephanie was trying to tell us she wants one for her birthday. She wasn't so sure of the party hat but kept it on long enough for some cute pictures.

Having a fun sleepover

We spent one night this week sleeping over and most of the time Stephanie was having a blast. She loves playing around with Jack and Mia and they love having her around, especially for a bath. I say most of the time since she didn't do so well sleeping away from home. She naps there almost everyday and she's been overnight there before but that was before she was one. This time when I put her to sleep she looked at me like, this isn't right mom, this isn't where I go to bed. She also was up from 1:00-4:00. The first hour she was upset and cried off and on, but then the next 2 she thought it was time to play. She's been sleeping well so I hoped this wasn't going to start something. She slept in til 9 and was a good sleeper last night. I guess it tells me that she really like her crib and being home. We are staying over again in 2 weeks so hopefully we have a better result.
