I didn't realize it had been so long that I have posted here. Every night I have the intention of doing so but for whatever reason it just doesn't get done. We are still trying to sell our house. We have an offer on it but it is contingent on the sale of another house. If it all works out then we will be moving somewhere in August. We have no idea where and are looking at all areas around town. The kids are doing well and are enjoying the nice weather. It has been in the 80s here for 3 days but I just closed the windows as the cold front has come through. I hope the girls are warm enough in their nightgowns tonight. This week I finally put away the winter coats, snow pants, hats, mittens, and boots. Hopefully we can do without those until October at least. We have been going on daily walks, me usually with one of the kids, and we found a family of ducks in the neighborhood behind us and they are a must find every time we are out. We didn't find them today so hopefully they are back tomorrow. I have never been much of a walker and I think since I started walking during Lent (which I dind't do so grea on) I have been on more walks this year so far than I have total since the Stephanie was born. That's not good, but I am going to try to keep this up while the weather stays nice.
Stephanie finished her speech with Marquette on April 30 and will start up again during the middle of June. I am still looking to get her some private speech for the summer but haven't been able to get in anywhere. She won't get any service from the school system because what they offer isn't much and since she is getting something elsewhere she doesn't qualify. She will continue to do occupational therapy during the summer also. She has been having some terrible emotional outbursts (yes, also known as a tantrum) a lot more often and I am not sure why. They are different than I have ever seen from her before and it takes her awhile to calm down. This has been hard on us as I don't know how to help her or even what is wrong. It does means she wants to held a lot more and I can't complain about that. I can't wait until her in home therapy starts later this summer. She is enjoying her last few weeks of school and it will be interesting once school ends. She loves picking the flowers (dandelions) from the lawn and painting the walkway with water plus going for walks.
Emily is growing up so fast. She loves the warm weather and going for walks. She even took her own dolly on a walk once and made it pretty far. She is talking up a storm and it is so cute. She repeats a lot of what she hears and sometimes just repeats one word of it. A couple of times Jeff has said "holy moly", and she says "moly". Her new favorite words are "okay", and "morning". She uses them so correctly and they are so cute. She loves wearing pull ups and I am thinking of starting to train her come June. She still goes #2 in the potty and tells you if she is wet or dry so I think she is ready. A couple of times she has gone potty on the toilet and tries to stop herself and says "no"as if it scares her. So I hope that isn't a problem. She loves running around the house being goofy, whether it is running with only a diaper on, or crawling on the floor, or going round and round in circles. She sure doesn't seem like a baby. If you ask her if she is your little baby she says "no", "boy". I'm not sure why she thinks she's a boy but that is always her response.
That's what has been going on here and I will post again soon with some pictures.
