Real reason why things have been slow
I have been avoiding this entry but feel like I need to get it down since I can't keep it in anymore. Over 6 weeks ago my Grandpa (my mom's dad) went in the hospital for a double bi pass. He has been having trouble recovering and is still at the hospital. He seems to have a few good days, gets out of ICU, but then has a couple bad days and is back in the ICU. He has been doing better this last week and hopefully has had his last setback. He needs to because we have also had to deal with the news that my Nana (my mom's mom) has cancer and it is untreatable. At first we thought she would be able to beat it, then we thought with chemo this summer she could live 3-5 years, but now there is little they can do and might make it 6-8 weeks. It has been very hard on everyone and is hard to believe since she was fine a few months ago. The kind of cancer she has is still being researched and started on her lung but now spread to her brain within a matter of weeks. After going though losing someone very suddenly while in college and not having time to say goodbye I thought it would be better to know. But seeing my Nana so sad and scared and wondering why this happened to her, it's hard to know which way is better. We are all still praying for a miracle and praying that she doesn't suffer but we don't know what the next few months hold. She said to me today she doesn't know if she is going to make it to see the new baby and it's so hard to imagine her not her holding her newest great granddaughter. She has always been the most sweetest, loving, and caring person I have even known. She has touched so many lives and I know God has His plan but that doesn't make it any easier on all of us still here. So anyone that does read this, please pray that no matter what happens Nana doesn't suffer, Grandpa gets better, and we all know this is the way God planned for it to be.
