Jeff and I were able to go out by ourselves Friday night. Alle was in town for drill and offered to watch the girls for us. As nervous as she was about it she was up for the challenge. She just needed to put them to bed since we didn't go out til 8:00 and Stephanie didn't take a nap and Emily hadn't taken an evening nap. Stephanie was saying goodbye to Jeff, just like she always does at night when he leaves or work, but then she saw me putting my coat on and started to whine. It didn't last since she has lots of fun with her Auntie Alle. She would've liked to keep them up to play with them but both went to sleep nicely for her. We just went to a local bar and grill and had some great bar food, some beers, and played darts. We were out till 11:30 which was plenty late for me. It was nice to go and and relive our before kid days but that was the first time I didn't put Emily to sleep. but Alle should come more often since she slept thought the night til 5:30.
