Stephanie celebrated her second birthday with us on Tuesday with some cake and one present. She loved her cake and every time she's at the table she could see it and wanted more of it, even if it was breakfast so we had to move the cake off the table. Then on the 4th we had more presents, Stephanie played in her pool, and we went to the fireworks. She got a picnic table, a basketball hoop, an animal memory game, a counting tower, and some clothes. She ran right to the basketball hoop when she got up and could put the ball in the hoop right away. We went to some 4th of July festivities at the park and she went in her first bounce house. She was a little unsure at first but it didn't take long for her to run around in it and love falling down. We also ate there and a band started playing and she was dancing in her stroller. It was very loud but she didn't care,it fascinated her. Afterwards we got her pool out and she LOVED it. She would go in and out and in and out and put her balls in and out. She went under a couple times and at first it scared her but then she didn't care. After a good nap we went back to the park for the fireworks and this time she could have cared less. She watched them for the first 2 minutes or so then talked to rest of the time and climbed on me and Jeff. She would look occasionally but she wasn't impressed. There's always next year.
