Stephanie is now 4 and I can't believe how big she is. I really think she knew it was her birthday as we talked about it for about 2 weeks before her day. As we talked about it being Emily's birthday after hers. She didn't want to get out of bed in the morning which is very odd for her. She wanted me to come into her bed and snuggle with her. She knew she could get what she wanted since it was her birthday. Jeff finally said there were balloons downstairs and that got her to jump out of bed. She was so excited to see her birthday balloons, presents, and cupcakes. I think they were both more excited about the balloons than anything else. Neither of the girls got many gifts because we got them a fish tank for their birthday. She did actually open her presents so hopefully she'll open her presents at her party this year. Their party is this weekend so we are hoping for some nice weather. After present opening we had breakfast and then it was off to get her birthday picture taken. I never know what to expect with that. She did great at first and then was asked to sit down and she lost it. Thankfully she recovered after playing ring around the rosy and we got a couple more pictures. We sang happy birthday after lunch and she did want to blow out her candle but loved eating her cupcake. We hung out at home and had her favorite dinner (spaghetti and watermelon). I think she had a good day and we started getting the fish tank ready so we could get some fish for it later in the weekend.

She has about 30 words but is understanding more
She misses school
She can climb up the big ladder on the swing set
She gives great big hugs
She's a great sleeper (12+ hours at night) a nap every other week maybe
She terrorizes her room
She loves taking off her shoes
She loves going for walks
She loves her blankets
She has become a picky eater
She has a lot to say and we all can't wait to hear it!!
